Thomas Kitson

Thomas Kitson, 65, died November 13, 2023, at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY.

Born January 21, 1958 in New York City, Thomas was the son of John and Anna Gilmore Kitson.  He graduated from Delaware Valley Central School in 1976, and SUNY Delhi in 1977.

Before retiring to become a semi-professional grandpa, he was co-owner of Thomas Electric Company. When not reading the most recent novel that he was able to get his hands on, he could be found tending to his garden or completing a woodworking project in his basement.

He is survived by his three sons, Brian (Kristen), Matthew, and John (Missy); a daughter, Megan; four grandchildren, Dominic, Gianni, Andrew, and Flora; two sisters, Anna Altbach and Marie Graby, one sister-in-law, Pam Kitson; and numerous nieces, and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Linda; his parents; his brothers, John, Willy, and Martin; his sister, Margaret MacIsaac; and two brothers-in-law, Arch MacIssac, and Bill Graby.

At his wish, there will be a small private ceremony with his family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Thomas’s name to the Upper Delaware Ambulance Corps, P.O. Box 258, Hankins, NY 12741.
