William J. Turner

William J. Turner of Liberty, NY, a retired machinist for Remee Products of Florida, NY and a lifelong area resident died Sunday, September 7, 2025 at the Garnet Health Hospital in Harris, NY. He was 74. 

The son of Mary Thomas Turner, he was born June 1, 1951 in Yonkers, NY.

Billy enjoyed gardening, assembling model airplanes, playing Yahtzee and watching television.

Survivors include his companion, Margaret "Janet" Fowler, at home; and one sister, Geraldine Turner of Florida, NY. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Turner.

Visitation will be Friday, September 12, 2025 from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.  Funeral services will be Friday, September 12, 2025 at 1:30 PM in the funeral home. Pastor Joseph LeConey will officiate.  Burial will be in the Florida Cemetery, Florida, NY.
