Charlette Barnes

Charlette F. Barnes of Bronx, NY formerly of Shohola, PA died Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Montefiore Hospital, Bronx, NY.  She was 47.

The daughter of the late Donna Hafler and Water Haas, Sr., she was born December 2, 1975 in Honesdale, PA.

Charlette enjoyed bartending and stock car races.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Norman Barnes of FL; two daughters, Jamie Elliott of NY and Brandy Elliott of Loch Sheldrake, NY; two sons, Stephen Barnes of FL and Nathan Barnes of FL; one brother, Walter “Boomer” Haas, Jr. of PA; four grandchildren, William, Jonathan, Lazarus, and Anthony; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Charlette’s life will be planned for the near future.
