Diane L. Ackerley of Woodbourne, NY, a former waitress at Frankie and Johnny’s in Hurleyville, NY and a lifelong area resident died Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY.  She was 64.

The daughter of the late Ruben and Agnes Jost Dobell, she was born August 6, 1956 in Livingston Manor, NY.

Diane enjoyed puzzle books, playing bingo and karaoke singing.

Survivors include her devoted husband, William J. Ackerley, at home; a son, John Gleason and his fiancé Melanie Hector of Livingston Manor, NY; a daughter, Danielle Gleason Kennedy and her husband David of Aurora, MD; four grandchildren, Christina Finkle, A.J. Finkle, Joseph Gleason, and Rogan Kennedy; her step-father, John Jost of Livingston Manor, NY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are private.

Memorial contributions in Diane’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
