Dieter Sawall

Dieter Sawall of Port Jervis, NY, a former employee for the Town of Fallsburg, NY and a long time area resident, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Bon Secours Hospital in Port Jervis, NY.  He was 63.

The son of the late Artur and Marga Fischer Sawall, he was born July 29, 1957 in Waterloo, NY.

Dieter enjoyed playing golf and online sports.

Survivors include one son, David Sawall of Woodridge, NY; one daughter, Ashley Van Sickle of Roscoe, NY; one brother, Herbert Sawall and his wife Kathy of Cochecton, NY; one granddaughter, Arianna Van Sickle; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be private.
