George Colton

George W. Colton, of Grenada, MS, formerly of Livingston Manor, NY, died Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada, MS.  He was 43.

The son of the late Ellis B. and Madeline J. Davis Colton, he was born April 21, 1979 in Norwich, NY.

George was a graduate of the Livingston Manor Central School and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include one brother, Ellis B. Colton, III and his wife Sun Cha Pok of So. Korea; his sister, Teresa Katz and her husband Thomas of Liberty. NY; his three children, Harry, Nicholas, and Ireland all of MS; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a close friend, James Elliott of Amory, MS.

He was predeceased by his parents, and by three brothers, Richard A. Colton, Stewart J. Colton, and Charles C. Colton.

Graveside services and burial will be Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 5 PM in the Sullivan County Veteran’s Cemetery on Sunset Lake Road, Liberty, NY.
