John Synovetz

John M. Synovetz of Toms River, NJ and Roscoe, NY, a twenty-five-year Firefighter for the City of Clifton, New Jersey Fire Department, died Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY.  He was 78.

The son of the late John Synovetz and Daisy Swan Donato, he was born August 3, 1943 in Passaic, NJ.

John proudly served Our Country from 1961-1965 in the US Marine Corps.  He was a member of the American Legion Post # 8, Clifton NJ and a member of VFW Post # 7165 of Clifton NJ. John loved the outdoors; he enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene Henneman Synovetz, at home; two sons, John Synovetz of Springfield, VT, and Michael Synovetz of Toms River NJ; one sister, Bonnie Synovetz of Toms River NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be private.
