Lynn Owen

Lynn B. Owen of East Branch, NY, a ceramic engineer and longtime employee of Lapp Insulator in LeRoy, NY before retiring from Cooper Industries in Macomb, IL, a lifelong area resident, died Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Garnet Health Medical Center in Harris, NY.  He was 83.

The son of the late Roy and Ethel Wilson Owen, he was born May 20, 1937 in East Branch, NY.

Lynn was a graduate of Roscoe High School, Class of 1955 and was a graduate of Alfred University; he served Our Country in the US Army; and he was a lifelong member and past treasurer of the East Branch Methodist Church.  He had been very active in fund raiser events for the Church.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Wenzel Owen, at home; and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by three sisters, Joyce Skinner, Betty Lechner and June Robson and by one brother, LeRoy Owen.

Funeral arrangements are private.
