Obituary

Marlene P. Miro of North Branch, NY, passed away, Saturday, January 21, 2023 at her daughter's home.  She was 85.

The daughter of the late Felipe and Judith Santa Cruz Paz, she was born April 12, 1937 in Bogota, Columbia.

Marlene had been an entrepreneur and homemaker.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed "messing with people".  She was known as "Grandma, Vampita or Ita" by her grandchildren; whom she loved spending time with.  Her family was her life and she be missed.

Survivors include her daughters, Nitza Miro-Vaiciunas and her husband John of North Branch, NY and Samantha Miro-Heyman and her husband David of Lutz, FL; her grandchildren, Devin, Justin, Mikal and his wife Destin and Mariah; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Korbin and Sariah.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Miro in February 2011.

Funeral services will be private.  Marlene will be buried with her husband at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
