Patricia Sunnekalb

Patricia A. Sunnekalb of Liberty, NY a homemaker and longtime area resident, died Monday March 28, 2022 at the Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY with her loving family by her side.  She was 90.

The daughter of the late John and Anastasia Toole Moresco, she was born October 26, 1931 in West New York, New Jersey.

Patricia loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed baking for them on special occasions.  She was an avid football and baseball fan and always supported the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees.

Survivors include her children, Maureen Porter of Rock Hill, NY, Veronica Caramico of Salina, KS, Sharon Bischert of Bethel, NY, Edward Sunnekalb and his wife Diane of Port St. Lucie, FL, Charles Sunnekalb and his wife Diana of Neversink, NY, and Kevin Sunnekalb of Fallsburg, NY; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Sunnekalb; and two children, Patricia Sunnekalb and Robert Sunnekalb; and her grandson William Bischert.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 5 to 7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 10 AM in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 10 Liberty Street, Monticello, NY.  Father Bob Porpora will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Monticello, NY.
