Robert B. "Bobby" Parks of White Sulphur Springs, NY a retired butcher and a lifelong area resident died Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at his home.  He was 76.

The son of the late Ora E. and Pearl A. Wilber Parks, he was born June 15, 1943 in White Sulphur Springs, NY.

Bobby was a member of the White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church, a member of the N.R.A., and a member of the Buck Horn Hunting Club.  He enjoyed working to fix old tractors, hunting, and riding snowmobiles and motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife Marilyn E. Skinner Parks, at home; three sons, Bruce Parks and his wife Nancy of Hockessin, DE, James Parks and his wife Sheila of White Sulphur Springs, NY and Michael Parks of White Sulphur Springs, NY; one brother, Dale Parks and his wife Rose of Mexico, NY; one sister-in-law, Elsie Parks of Youngsville, NY; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Shelly, Matthew, Kate, Dylan, Grady, and Liam; four great grandchildren, Mya, Christopher, Richie, and Gabriel.  He was predeceased by one brother, Leslie Parks, one sister, Winnie Hessinger and her husband Eddie; and a sister and brother-in law, Shirley and David Hackett.

Visitation will be private. A graveside service and burial will be held in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs, NY.  The Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate.

A public memorial service will be announced and held at a later date at the White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church Route 52, White Sulphur Springs, NY.
