Sharon Major

Sharon Dorothy Major of Loch Sheldrake, NY a home health aide and a lifelong area resident, died Sunday, February 16, 2020 at her home.  She was 26.

The daughter of Laura Smith and Lawrence Major, she was born September 23, 1993 in Harris, NY.

Sharon was talented, very kindhearted and a good person who would do anything for anyone.  She found positivity with everything and aspired to be a rapper.  She was well loved.

Survivors include her mother, Laura Smith of Loch Sheldrake, NY; her father, Lawrence Major of Loch Sheldrake, NY; two sisters, Angela Stephenson and her fiancé Alan Hillman of Fallsburg, NY and Desiree Major of Loch Sheldrake, NY; one brother, Mackenzie Drayton and his companion Nichole Janik of Harris, NY; her maternal grandmother, Sharon Maus and her fiancé Robert McKay, Jr. of Jeffersonville, NY; two nieces Lorelai and Aspyn and two nephews, Lucas, Xander; and several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her dog, Amor.

She was predeceased by one sister, Orelia Major and her paternal grandparents, Dorothy and Edward Major.

A Celebration of Life service is being planned for the near future.
