Vickie Bowers

Vickie J. Bowers of Roscoe, NY, a lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at her home with her family at her side.  She was 69.

The daughter of the late Clarence and Marjorie Stoesser Hendrickson, she was born October 30, 1950 in Callicoon, NY.

Vickie had been a waitress at many restaurants in Roscoe; she enjoyed sewing and gardening.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Bowers, at home; two sons, Richard Bowers of Wisconsin and Dylan Bowers and his wife Paula of Liberty, NY; one daughter, Renee Meyer of Cortland, NY; four sisters, Julie Hendrix and her husband Roy, Kathy Maxwell, Mary McClure, and Clara Hendrickson; five brothers, Clarence Hendrickson and his wife Shirley, John Hendrickson and his wife Kim, Randy Bowers and his wife Michelle, Robert Hendrickson and his wife Amanda, and Stanley Hendrickson and his wife Christine; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2020 from 10 AM to 11 AM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 6, 2020 at 11AM in the funeral home.  The Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate.

Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.
