William Baer, Sr.

William Carl Baer, Sr. of Jeffersonville, NY a retired sandhog and a lifelong area resident, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Westchester County Medical Center, Valhalla, NY.  He was 66.

The son of the late Horst Baer and Dorothy May Wormuth Madden, he was born August 19, 1953 in Callicoon, NY.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Baer, at home; two sons, Shawn Baer of TN; and William Baer, Jr. of Jeffersonville, NY; and one daughter, Jennifer Baer of Jeffersonville, NY; seven grandchildren, Marc Conklin, Kayla Conklin, Alexis Conklin, Anastasia Baer, Rachel Baer, Pandora Baer and Shawn Baer, Jr.; one great grandchild expected in June, Liam; one sister-in-law, Donna Grimm; several nieces and nephews; and two good friends, Billy Bennett and Marcel Dixon.

He was predeceased by one brother, Everett Baer.

Funeral services will be private.
